Sorcerer's Apprentice, uzun metrajlı bir Hollywood yapımı. 111 dakika uzunluğundaki filmin, yapımcı studyosu ise Walt Disney. Filmin 21.45 seansına Kuşadası Cinemarine sinemalarında gittim. Cinemarine, orta halli bir sinema salonu. Ses sistemi cok kaliteli değil, aynı zamanda perde buyukluğunun de cok yeterli olduğunu söyleyemem.
Filme gelirsek.. Filmin afişine bakarsak başrolde yeni nesil oyunculardan Jay Baruchel ile son yaptığı filmlerle hayran kitlesini yavaş yavaş kaybetmeye başlamış usta aktör Nicolas Cage var. Bana filmin ilginç gelen politikalarından biri de bu.. Çünkü filmde Alfred Molina ve Monica Bellucci gayet uzun bir sure de rol almalarına rağmen bu iki usta oyuncunun ne film afişinde ne promosyonlarda adları geçmiyor..
Film geçmiş çağlarda geçen ve göze gayet hoş gelen bir açılış sahnesiyle başlıyor. Konumuz ise Dave (Jay Baruchel) adlı genç oğlanımızın bir sihirbazla tanışıp, belli sebeplerle tanıştığı sihirbazımız olan Balthazar Blake'in (Nicolas Cage) Dave'i dünyayı kurtarmak üzere yetiştirmesi olarak özetlenebilir.. Zaten genel olarak filmde göze hoş gelme konusunda bir sıkıntı olmamasına rağmen, birçok mantık hatası göze batıyor. Özellikle filmin son 15 dakkası çöp...
Garip bir biçimde filmi ucuzlaştırma çabaları mevcut filmde. Sanırım kadroyu yıldız oyuncularla doldururken çok fazla para harcamışlar ki senaryoda ufak hinlikler yapıp masrafı azaltmaya calısmıslar. Araba takip sahnesi var filmde mesela, bu sahnenin sonunda çakallık yapmasalar parçalamaları gereken araba Mercedes SLS AMG (fiyatı 400 bin Euro civarı), fakat bizim çaylak büyücü karşı tarafa hurda buyusu yapmak isterken o da ne kendi arabasına yapıveriyor ve 1973 model saçma sapan bir arabaya donusturuyor guzelim Mercedes'i ve işte bu araba parçalanıyor.
Filmde, macar aynası hariç, yaratıcı büyü namına bir şey bulmak zor. Filmin sonundaki otomatiğe bağlayan plazma toplarını ise konuşmaya bile değmez.. Öte yandan komik/yaratıcı olan başka filmlere göndermeleri filmde sık sık görüyoruz..
Yazın sıcağından bunalmış ve klimalı bir yer arayan, otururken de sıkılmayayım onumde bişiler oynasın diyen Çok Hücreliler'in gidebileceği bir film.. Fakat kimsenin beklentiyle gitmemesinde yarar var.
